Leopard Trousers: Three Looks

I'm a big big fan of anything animal printed, especially leopard print. I don't know what it is about it that attracts me, I don't even like cats. But if I had a penny for every leopard print patterned item I've bought in my lifetime, I'd undoubtedly be a very rich lady.

I recently purchased a lovely pair of leopard print trousers from Topshop to add to the ever growing collection. They were £42 but I've convinced myself they're worth it by putting together various ways of wearing them, depending on mood, place of wear...and whether I'm having a fat day or not!

Here are three looks:

Nude Nish

Top- Asos
Bandeau- Urban Outfitters
Trousers- Topshop
Shoes- Dorothy Perkins
Necklace- Primark
Veiny feet- I got it from my mama

Comfy Casual

Jumper- Forever 21

Shoes- Converse

Pop of Colour

Top- Topshop
Trousers- Topshop
Blazer- Ebay

My current mood: sleeepy (like this leopard)

A Trip to Chiswick Car Boot

Picture this:

On Sunday morning my bladder woke me up (as it usually does after a night out), my mouth tasted a mix of vodka and chocolate, and sprawled out next to me was a half naked guy. For a split second I thought 'what and more importantly who the hell happened last night...', until realising it was dear Foo Foo.
After this slight moment of madness, we had some tea and headed to Chiswick Car Boot Sale with Joely!

I've always been a massive fan of this Car Boot which takes place on the first Sunday of every month! Saying that, the last time I went was in February... the heavy snow and lack of stalls left my sister and I with nothing but frostbite! Faaail.

Sunday's trip wasn't much better in terms of items purchased...but the sun was shining and we had a lovely little time.

Highlights!

I was never a believer in love at first sight...until I met this teeny weeny teacup puppy at the gates...in other words, the CUTEST thing I have ever seen in my life. And did I mention that it was literally the size of a teacup?

Joely was on the lookout for a shirt similar to one which I got from here a few years back...he has taken mine captive and even wore it on Sunday (see below). Cheeky bugger.

Whilst Joel tried on various pieces of women's jewellery and examined teapots...

Ferrari was busy taking selfies...and I quote, "I wish there were two of me so I could fuck myself".
His vanity has no bounds...

and I was making up for the lack of sausage the night before...

Purchases!

Joely got this beautiful vintage mirror:

mirror mirror on the wall, who's the gayest of them all...

His PR selling/negotiating skillz came in handy as he got it down from £25 to £20.
Well I say that, but it was actually down to pure luck. The old man selling it wanted me to flip a coin to determine the price... £20 for heads and £22 for tails.
Luckily for Joel, the guy was a bit ditzy in the head...it landed on tails and he still exclaimed "£20 it is!"
SAAAFE DOOOE.

Joel and I also got matching watch rings for £2....bargain. Little did we know that neither of them actually work...but at least they look pretty :)

and I also bought this statement pearl ring for £1..yay!

Most Shameful Moment:

It has to be when I tried to purchase a real Prada bag for £1.50 rather than it's actual price of £150. The woman looked me like I'd been dropped on my head a fair few times as a child.
To be fair I probably was.

I'm going to do a style post tomorrow- 1 Item, 3 Ways.
Have a look innit.

My Perfect Saturday; Tasty Treats, One Direction & G-A-Y.

Yum Yum in my Tum

Saturday fun began when I met my friend Ferrari (Foo Foo) for some incredibly yummy food consisting of chicken, rice, crunchy veg and some sort of coconut milky goodness. If you're ever looking for an alternative, less pricey version of Wagamama's, Itsu Sushi is the one! Cheap as chips and tasty as tits.

One Direction: This Is Us

My love for the beautiful boy band that is One Direction is not one to be underestimated. Nor am I ashamed to admit that I dream about Niall Horan as my boyfriend. Yes, I am a 12 year old girl trapped in a 22 year old woman's body.

So of course when their movie came out, I had to see it. £14.95 for a ticket...and worth every penny.

The audience consisted of little girls, their parents, and Ferrari and I. Judging by the movie trailers which were shown, one example being for 'Turbo', a movie about a garden snail who dreams of being the greatest racer in the world (optimistic), it was clear we were a bit out of place. But hey, life goes on.

Being the classy gays that we are, we snuck in our own food and alcohol and spent the whole duration of the film singing along to every song, happy snapping, munching and thinking naughty thoughts about the perfect little creatures on the screen (and most probably annoying the hell out of our fellow 'Directioners'!)

MUNCH
Click Click Snap

Favourite Parts of the Movie
  •  Niall's X Factor reaction to getting rejected as a solo artist and then being put into the band. It never gets old. He is so cute and vulnerable and I just want to hug him, hold him, squeeze him, please him.
  • Zayn's phonecall to his mama after she sees the house he bought for her. I wanted to cry.
Disappointments
  • The fact we weren't featured (they filmed their show on the night we went to see them, but our fanatic faces didn't pop up).
If you don't love 1D, I guarentee you will hate the movie. It's really quite shit as far as movies go, and I only enjoyed it because I am genuinely sad and enjoy watching them sing, talk, interact, and look pretty

Anyways...a family pack of crispies each & 6 G&T's later and we were suitably pissed and ready to partaaaay in my favourite place of all time...

G-A-Y Late!

For those of you who don't already know, I am basically a gay man. I love gay clubs and there was a time when a week wouldn't pass without at least one trip to G-A-Y. This probably explains my relationship status.

I can't remember the last time I went to G-A-Y Late (my fav) before yesterday and I was defo having withdrawal symptoms!

We met up with our friend Adam (Dotty). Dotty and I wanted to go to G-A-Y Late but Ferrari wanted to go to another gay club. We learnt a few things last night;

How to get a stubborn gay man to go to G-A-Y

1) Get him drunk
2) Offer to buy his drinks all night (safe Dotty)

 The One Direction theme continued...

Me and my future hubby Niall Horan

To top it all off, me and Ferrari went for yet another tasty meal at Balans after G-A-Y...it made a nice change from the greasy kebab shop across the road and also meant avoiding the standard arguments where I accuse them of not giving me enough salad, sauce, chips, or all of the above.

I don't know what I ate, all I know is that it was frickin' delicious!

The only bad things I have to say about the night are...

 1) Ferrari made me leave at 2am when there was a good hour of boogie time left

2) This naughty man stole my favourite hat

RIP hat

 Peace and love

Saturday: What I Wore

This was probably one of the best Saturdays I have had in a long long time, as it revolved around three of my favourite things on this earth... One Direction, food and gay clubbing! I'll be here forever if I get into the details of all three, so for the purposes of this post, I'll keep it nice and simple:

Carnival Baby

On Monday I went to Carnival with three of ma besties;
Laura Kennedy- My favourite blondie/ ditzy sister from another mister
Aggie Pop- My quirky little Polish babe with the coolest name I know
Charlotte Piccio- My Asian twin/ new blogging buddy woop! Check out her wonderful blog here;

Outfit of the Day

I wore a bit of a combo of the previous Carnival outfit ideas that I posted.
I wanted to wear shorts as it was beauuutiful weather, but decided that the sparkly ones were more like knickers, and as much as I enjoy prancing around my room naked, or inappropriately getting my tits out in public places, perhaps Carnival wasn’t the best place for a Nish style bum flash.

These are the only pictures where you can really see the full outfit (I forgot to take a clear one). My bad!

Top- Topshop
Shorts- Topshop
Boots- New Look
Socks- Topshop
Bumbag/Fanny Pack- American Apparel
Headband- Primark
Necklace- Ebay

Hair & Makeup

Pink Hair Dye- Superdrug's Instant Colour Hairspray, 'Pink Punch' (Wash in Wash Out)
Silver Face Glitter- Models Own
Eyelashes- Eylure Naturalites, No.100
Turquoise Glitter Eyeliner- Collection 2000
Lipstick- No.7 'Mischief'
Face Gems- Superdrug 'Nail Jewels'

Who knew that having  pink hair could make a girl so happy....?! May have to make this shit permanent.

My Day!

This year’s carnival experience began with a game very similar to 'Where's Wally?', except the missing person in question was not the geeky little man in stripes. Very bad signal (Orange’s EE network is utter shite) led to a game of‘Where’s Laura Kennedy at?’

Aim of the game: to track down the blonde haired, big boobed beauty in a green top and denim shorts.

… this was one game we didn't want to play, and it sucked balls. I felt a bit like Mufasa in his search for Simba when he was trapped in the herd of wildebeests. No offence to Carnival-goers or anything…but some of them gave me the chills! Thankfully after a few fuzzy phone calls, a lot of pushing and shoving and the establishing of a clear meeting point (a pub...standard) we finally found her! Phew.

The rest of the day could only get better. And it did. We danced to Michael Jackson, made friends with colourful beings, painted faces, hairy chested men and the police force and perved on Mark Lamarr kissing a girl whilst drinking free cocktails and bopping away to some jazzy music.

Mark Lamarr & ladyfriend

I also drank rum out of a really weird looking pineapple and pretended I was on a tropical Island...
the delicious aromas of jerk chicken and meaty goodness made up for the fact there was no sand, sea or...the other S word!

Highlights:

1) Being with all the girrrrrls
...minus Zoe of course who we couldn't find :(

2) Charlotte’s epic fall...she was a trooper

Action shot

3) The Atmosphere

So much colour!
Bootylicious
Shake yo body like a belly dancer

4) One Direction's Apperance
...okay, so they appeared on my arm, but still. Aggie bought me a 1D sticker set which came with a heart shaped lollipop. I loved it and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

5) The Food...
to be specific, the KFC and Pizza Express that we munched afterwards. Standard fatties.

Biggest Regret:

Not arriving earlier. By the time we found Laura it was already 3:30pm, so we only really had a few hours of crazy time.

Carnival 2014, see ya there bright and early.

XOXO
